04/09/2022: Workshop during the international online IAHAIO Conference: ‘How to Get Horses’ Consent in Coaching’
You can watch the introduction video through this link.
IAHAIO is the research-based International Association for Human-Animal Interaction Organizations.
In my workshop I explain my view on coaching with the support of horses: to me, it is important to be a trained coach, as well as trained in working with horses in a respectful way, based on sound knowledge of what horses need by nature. I think this is the only way to be able to guarantee the well-being of both coaches and horse.
I don’t regard horses in coachings to be a ‘mirror’, I see them as catalysts: by being who they are, and by doing what they do, horses invite people to explore what they as humans can do to tackle their challenges.
06/08/2021: Workshop in the context of the SF24 Conference, a global Solution Focused event: ‘Becoming meaningful as a leader – Get inspired by Solution Focused Natural Horse Behaviour’
You can watch the recordings through this link.
The interactive workshop includes a video, background information, reflection and practice. What will you learn from horses about making choices?
• choose & act: actually make a choice and act accordingly instead of keeping on driving in circles on the roundabout of indecisiveness…
• accept consequences: realize that choosing also implies that you choose for the consequences of that choice, too…
• there’s no right or wrong: everything is information, an endless pallet of options. Your choices make it your unique creation of your reality…
You don’t always choose what you find on your path, you do have a choice in how you deal with it… For horses, making choices is a solution focused act of creation… Imagine what difference this way of looking at ‘choosing’ could make!

You can watch the recordings through this link.
The interactive workshop introduces the Connective Clarity model and includes a video, background information, reflection and practice. Learn from horses how to deal with (even challenging) situations in a resilient way, instead of getting into an automatic fight or flight mode. Find out how to:
• give and receive messages with clarity…
• turn ‘irritating’ into ‘interesting’…
• resolve conflicts confidently…
The kind of leadership that comes from ‘becoming meaningful’ is about how you can invite (instead of convince) others. Imagine what difference this could make for you, for your team members, for your organization!
